Job summary

Age UK Walton Vale is recruiting a Shop Supervisor to help run a busy high-street shop and deliver an excellent retail service, ensuring customers have a great shopping experience.

You will maximise shop sales and profits, deputise for the Shop Manager, support with sales, stock rotation, displays and tidying, and represent Age UK professionally. The role requires working 7 hours across 7 days on a rota, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role (A, I)
• Experience of cash handling (A, I)
• Ability to work as part of an effective team (A, I)
• Be able to lone work when needed (I)
• Ability to fulfil stock-handling requirements including moving items up to 10kg (I)
• Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion (I)

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent retail service and ensure every customer has a great shopping experience.
• Maximise shop sales and profits and assist with day-to-day shop running.
• Deputise for the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager in their absence.
• Support with sales, stock rotation, displays and shop tidying; represent Age UK professionally.
