Job summary

Scope's Windermere shop is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to join a close-knit team. You will work alongside the Shop Manager to run daily operations, grow sales, and provide leadership to staff and volunteers.

This permanent, part-time role offers 14 hours per week across a two-role opening at 33 Main Road, Windermere, LA23 1DX. Applicants must have retail or customer-facing experience and the legal right to work in the UK; enhanced DBS checks apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of the shop operations.
• Support, motivate, and involve a diverse team of paid employees and volunteers.
• Promote Scope and its services within the community.
• Drive sales and manage stock; support online selling.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Deputise for the shop manager in their absence.
