Job summary
Age UK in Sidcup is seeking a Shop Supervisor to lead daily retail operations and deliver a great customer experience.
You will support with sales, stock rotation, displays, and housekeeping, and deputise for the Shop Manager when needed.
This 21-hour per week role includes weekends on a rota and a friendly team atmosphere, with opportunities to help Age UK fund essential services.
Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Experience of cash handling.
- Ability to work as part of an effective team.
- Be able to lone work when needed.
- Ability to fulfil the stock-handling requirements of the role, including moving items weighing up to 10kg.
- Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion, and treating colleagues and customers with dignity, fairness and respect.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an excellent retail service and ensure every customer has a great shopping experience.
- Assist with sales and contribute to maximising shop sales and profits.
- Deputise for the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager in their absence.
- Support with stock rotation, displays, shop tidying and general shop upkeep.
- Represent Age UK professionally and reflect core values.
