Job summary

Greggs plc is seeking a Shop Manager to lead a team delivering fast, friendly service across in-store and online channels.

You will recruit, train, and engage staff, drive performance, manage costs, and ensure a welcoming, clean shop environment while actively participating in food preparation and service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Supervisor or Line Manager delivering excellent customer service.
• Retail experience in food-on-the-go environment preferred.
• Strong people development and engagement skills.

Job description

Join us as a Shop Manager and you'll lead and motivate your team to deliver fast and friendly service to our customers. We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click + Collect and drive thru. You'll be responsible for making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

Typical day at work

• Lead the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
• Drive high performance through recruitment, training and development, and colleague engagement
• Keep a close eye on things like wage controls, waste controls and customer service standards
• Roll your sleeves up and get involved in food preparation and serving customers
• Ensure the shop is clean, well-stocked and welcoming

About you

If you have a track record as a Supervisor or Line Manager, have lots of experience delivering excellent customer service and have worked in a food-on-the-go environment or within retail, this could be the role for you.
