Job summary

Greggs plc in Brighton is recruiting a Shop Manager to lead a team in delivering fast, friendly service across in-store and online channels. You will recruit, train and engage staff, drive performance and maintain high shop standards.

You will also oversee wage and waste controls, get involved in food preparation, and ensure a welcoming environment for customers. Previous supervisory experience in retail or food-on-the-go is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor or Line Manager delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience in a food-on-the-go or retail environment preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced shop.

Join us as a Shop Manager and you’ll lead and motivate your team to deliver fast and friendly service to our customers.

We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click + Collect and drive thru. You’ll be responsible for making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
• Drive high performance through recruitment, training and development, and colleague engagement
• Keep a close eye on things like wage controls, waste controls and customer service standards
• Roll your sleeves up and get involved in food preparation and serving customers
• Ensure the shop is clean, well-stocked and welcoming

About you

• If you have a track record as a Supervisor or Line Manager, have lots of experience delivering excellent customer service and have worked in a food-on-the-go environment or within retail, this could be the role for you.
