Job summary

Greggs PLC in Oswestry is seeking a Shop Manager to lead a team, drive high performance and deliver fast, friendly service to customers across in-shop and online channels. You will recruit, train, engage colleagues and maintain high shop standards, while involved in food preparation and service.

Salary: £37,914 per annum plus Additional Commission subject to eligibility.

About the role

Join us as a Shop Manager and you’ll lead and motivate your team to deliver fast and friendly service to our customers. We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click+Collect and drive thru. You’ll be responsible for making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online. While no two days will be the same, during a typical day at work you can expect to:

• Lead the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
• Drive high performance through recruitment, training and development, and colleague engagement
• Keep a close eye on things like wage controls, waste controls and customer service standards
• Roll your sleeves up and get involved in food preparation and serving customers
• Ensure the shop is clean, well-stocked and welcoming

About you

If you have a track record as a Supervisor or Line Manager, have lots of experience delivering excellent customer service and have worked in a food-on-the-go environment or within retail, this could be the role for you. You’ll also be supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is good. £12.91 per hour, if you are under 18 this will be £11.03 per hour

£14.00 per hour which includes a 20p per hour band increment
