Job summary

Greggs plc in Exmouth is hiring a Shift Manager to lead a busy store and keep the shop running when the Manager is away. You’ll motivate the team, deliver great customer service and ensure product quality across in-store, delivery, and click+collect channels.

Typical duties include inspiring the team, serving customers quickly and warmly, preparing sandwiches and managing ovens, keeping displays stocked, and maintaining a clean, presentable shop.

Qualifications

• Reliable and able to demonstrate natural leadership and drive to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Experience in supervisory or shift-leading roles in customer-focused environments is desirable.
• Willingness to work across multiple channels (in-store, delivery, Click+Collect).

Salary: £14.00 per hour which includes a 20p per hour band increment.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you'll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.As part of the management team,you'llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn'taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.You'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
