Shop Manager – Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new shop manager for our shop in Banbury, Oxfordshire. We offer a permanent full-time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.

Please note that for full-time positions, we require you to be fully flexible in your availability throughout the week, including weekends.

Pay & benefits:

The salary for this position ranges from £32,944.97 to £46,483.67 per year.

As one of our shop managers, you will:

• Lead by example and participate in daily shop tasks
• Motivate and inspire your team to deliver excellent service
• Recruit, induct, and develop your team through coaching and mentoring
• Ensure the shop is safe, clean, and well-maintained, managing deliveries and routines
• Control shop costs such as shrinkage, waste, and payroll, and report to your area manager
• Maintain standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, and presentation

You will need:

• A friendly, positive, and hardworking attitude
• Strong leadership skills to motivate in a busy environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships
• Trustworthiness and reliability as a key team member
• Experience as a manager or assistant manager
• A full driving licence is desirable; applicants without one are still welcome if they meet other criteria
