Job summary

The British Red Cross Society is seeking a Shop Assistant to join a friendly team in our retail shop. You will support the shop manager, help maintain a welcoming environment, and ensure excellent customer service while handling transactions and creating displays.

Ideal candidates bring retail experience, enjoy working with people, and are confident with till operations. This role offers flexible working options and opportunities to contribute to our mission of helping people in crisis.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a retail environment.
• Confident with handling money.

Responsibilities

In return for your commitment and expertise, you’ll get:

• Assisting the shop manager to run a lucrative, customer-focussed shop that is the 'window of the British Red Cross' on the high street.

• Previous experience of working in a retail environment and are confident with handling money

• To appreciate and anticipate each customer's needs and delight them with the service provided
