KLA in Newport is seeking a Shipment Acceptance Technician to join our Manufacturing Operations team. You will prepare, inspect, and present semiconductor processing modules ready for customer handover and final shipment, ensuring high quality and documentation accuracy.

The role operates on a rotating shift pattern with early and late weeks, and occasional night work. This is an opportunity to develop your career in a fast-growing, award-winning company with clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, engineering or related technical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed inspection standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills and logical approach to issues.
• Able to work with multiple teams and maintain deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, decommission, and present modules for handover and shipment.
• Assemble panels, covers and components to meet quality standards.
• Perform detailed inspections and quality checks before handover.
• Support packing and shipment activities with proper documentation.
• Follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.
• Review BOMs and drawings to ensure correct configuration.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Test and Logistics to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and processes.
• Assist in developing and updating SOPs for consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Promote a culture of quality, safety and attention to detail in operations.
