Job summary

KLA is seeking a Shipment Acceptance Technician at our Newport, UK site to ensure products are prepared, inspected and presented to the highest standards for customer acceptance and final shipment.

You will work as part of our Manufacturing Operations team, following SOPs, reading engineering drawings and BOMs, and collaborating with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Test and Logistics to meet delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, engineering, or related technical environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and quality processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Good cross-team collaboration and time management.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and occasional nights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, decommission, and present modules for handover and shipment.
• Perform final assembly and inspect to ensure quality.
• Conduct detailed inspections and verify readiness for customer handover.
• Support packing, documentation, and shipment activities.
• Follow SOPs and maintain records.
