Job summary

Crystal Cruises requires a Refrigeration Assistant to maintain and repair the ship's HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, cooling and air conditioning systems across the vessel, ensuring they meet company standards and health regulations.

You will coordinate closely with the Hotel Engineer, other technical departments and ship staff, performing fault diagnosis, routine servicing and timely parts replacement on a 6-month contract.

Qualifications

• Experience as a junior refrigeration engineer.
• Valid STCW and relevant professional certificates.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong professional references or recommendations.
• Experience on cruise ships is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, and air handling units.
• Maintain stock and order spare parts and consumables.
• Report to Hotel Engineer and coordinate with Hotel Department.
