Job summary

Crystal Cruises seeks a Junior Refrigeration Engineer to join the Engine Department aboard the ship. You will maintain and repair HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across the vessel to meet company standards and safety regulations.

Embark ASAP on a 6-month contract (±1 month). You will liaise with the Hotel/HVAC Engineer, participate in safety drills, and develop hands-on shipboard skills in a challenging maritime environment.

Qualifications

• Valid STCW 95 certification is required.
• Appropriate certification to handle refrigerant gases is required.
• Good knowledge of refrigeration systems, AC distribution, and ability to troubleshoot onboard issues.
• Physically and medically fit to work at sea.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair ship HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Coordinate with Hotel/HVAC Engineer and other technical parties.
• Ensure compliance with Company standards and safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate log books and maintenance records.
