Job summary

Marella Cruises is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for the Marella Explorer 2 to perform maintenance and repair of the ship's HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The role reports to the HVAC Engineer and requires active participation in safety drills and regulations onboard.

The ideal candidate has STCW 95 certification, hands-on shipboard experience, and the ability to read technical drawings and manuals.

Qualifications

• Valid STCW 95 certification.
• Good knowledge of refrigeration systems and AC distribution.
• Licensed to handle refrigerants.
• Physically and medically fit.

Responsibilities

• Safe maintenance, operation and repair of HVAC systems onboard the vessel.
• Coordinate with Hotel and technical departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Inspect and maintain refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Ensure compliance with Public Health and safety regulations.
