Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Sherburn (Leeds) seeks an experienced FLM to lead a fast-paced warehouse operation. You will manage shift activity, coach teams and drive performance to meet customer SLAs and KPIs.

This full-time role operates on a 4 on/4 off pattern (07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00). Salary is £33,000 with 23 days leave, pension, life assurance, GP access, and the MyBenefits platform for discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics leadership role.
Strong people management capability, with experience leading teams and driving engagement.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and using data to drive performance.
Good organisational and analytical skills to plan resources and respond to changing demands.
Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of shift performance, coordinating team leaders and operational activities to ensure the efficient flow of goods through the warehouse in line with customer SLAs and KPIs.
Monitor real-time operational performance, proactively identifying risks to service delivery and implementing corrective actions to maintain productivity, accuracy and service standards.
Plan and manage labour requirements in collaboration with the Shift Manager, ensuring resource levels are aligned to volume forecasts and operational demands.
Lead, coach and develop your team, driving engagement, accountability and performance while addressing any conduct, capability or training needs.
Work closely with internal stakeholders across operations, transport and customer teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment to deliver operational objectives.
