Viridor is seeking a Shift Team Leader to oversee the ERF plant operations in Ardley. You will lead shift teams to ensure safe, efficient operation, maximise throughput and energy output, and manage staffing and handovers.

You will implement Safe Systems of Work, issue permits, drive continuous improvement, and ensure environmental permit compliance. This role requires strong leadership and a proactive safety culture within a regulated industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to lead team briefings and detailed operational handovers.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good IT and computer literacy.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise shift teams for safe, efficient ERF plant operation.
• Maximise plant availability, waste throughput and energy output against KPIs.
• Plan and prioritise workloads for optimum process performance.
• Organise shift cover and maintain staffing levels.
• Support team development via performance reviews and coaching.
