Job summary

Popeyes UK is opening a brand-new restaurant and seeking a proactive Shift Supervisor to lead the initial team. You will manage shifts, coach the team, and deliver outstanding guest experiences from day one in a fast-paced, fresh-food setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Shift Manager in fast-paced hospitality, QSR, or retail.
• Hands-on leadership with the confidence to motivate and support your team.
• Passion for developing people and creating high-performing teams.
• Strong operational knowledge with a focus on standards, food safety, and guest experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Ambition to develop your career, with the drive to take advantage of our Fast Track Development Programme and progress into management.

Responsibilities

• Lead your shift and inspire your team to deliver exceptional food quality, speed of service, and unforgettable guest experiences.
• Support the management team in building a high-performing restaurant from opening day.
• Lead engaging pre-shift briefings that energise and focus your team.
• Be a hands-on leader who sets the standard and motivates others through example.
• Coach, develop, and support your team, helping identify and grow future leaders.
• Drive operational excellence by maintaining high standards across food safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
• Take ownership of shift performance, including labour deployment, service flow, and guest satisfaction.
• Help create a fun, inclusive, and energetic culture where both guests and team members love being part of the restaurant.
• Play an active role in embedding Popeyes' culture and values as part of a brand-new opening team.
