Job summary

Mitchells & Butler plc is recruiting for a Shift Supervisor at the Barnt Green Inn to welcome guests and lead a small team through busy service periods. You’ll train staff, maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, and drive great guest experiences within our Premium Country Pubs family.

You’ll work with flexible shifts and enjoy staff discounts, pension, holiday entitlement and a supportive, social workplace that values teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality supervisory roles is preferable.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and coach team members.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the day-to-day running of the site: act as a host, serve guests and confidently lead your team.
• Be a shift leader.
• Be a role model for your teams, helping with their training.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
