Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Shift Supervisor at The Black Horse Inn. You will welcome guests, lead a front-of-house team and ensure service standards are consistently high. The role focuses on coaching staff, maintaining guest satisfaction and a positive, safe working environment.

You’ll be part of a busy pub group, with opportunities to develop your leadership skills and contribute to a friendly team culture. The position is based on-site and involves flexible shifts to fit around you.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a hospitality team or shift
• Proven ability to train and develop colleagues
• Strong customer service ethos and standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and guest service as a Shift Supervisor
• Lead, motivate and develop front-line team members
• Ensure training is delivered and standards maintained
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across the venue
