Job summary

Chestnut is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee the Front of House team and partner with the General and Assistant Manager to deliver a memorable hospitality experience. You will lead by example and ensure smooth interactions between FOH and kitchen teams.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality service, maintaining a welcoming environment, and contributing to a positive pub atmosphere across Chestnut venues in East Anglia.

Qualifications

• Supervise and coordinate daily front of house operations, leading by example.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front of house daily operations; lead by example.

• Report concerns to Assistant/General Manager.

At Chestnut we strive to be a vibrant, community-focused work environment and are looking for an organised individual to take on the role of a Food and Beverage Supervisor. You will work closely with the General and Assistant Manager to host our guests through an enjoyable hospitality experience by overseeing the Front of House team at The The Lifeboat .

Job requirements:

• To be an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and take pride in delivering a great guest experience
• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the front of house team, leading by example
• Being a team players interested in expanding their knowledge and contributing to a welcoming pub atmosphere and expanding our positive company ethos here at Chestnut
• Having a good understanding of wet/dry stock
• Handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth food services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Reporting back to the Assistant/General manager with any concerns regarding team/property
