Job summary

Chestnut is seeking an enthusiastic front of house supervisor to lead our daily dining room operations. You will supervise the front of house team, ensure excellent guest service, and collaborate with the kitchen to maintain smooth service.

Qualifications

• Supervise daily front of house operations and lead by example.

• Understand wet/dry stock and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the front of house team.
• Coordinate tasks and train staff to ensure great guest experience.
• Work with kitchen to ensure smooth food services.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Report to the Assistant/General manager with concerns.
• Handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
• Support team with inventory and stock control.

Job requirements:

• To be an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and take pride in delivering a great guest experience
• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the front of house team, leading by example
• Being a team players interested in expanding their knowledge and contributing to a welcoming pub atmosphere and expanding our positive company ethos here at Chestnut
• Having a good understanding of wet/dry stock
• Handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth food services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Reporting back to the Assistant/General manager with any concerns regarding team/property
