Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC at the Alexandra pub is seeking a friendly Shift Supervisor to welcome guests and lead a team. You’ll host, take pride in service excellence and mentor colleagues to maintain great standards every shift.

You’ll drive training, supervise day‑to‑day operations, ensure cleanliness and safety, and foster a supportive, welcoming environment so every guest feels valued and returns.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or bar/food service preferred.
• Ability to lead and train a diverse team.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the day-to-day running of the site: acting as a host, serving guests and confidently lead your team
• Be a shift leader
• Be a role model for your teams, helping with their training
