Hunter Selection Ltd in Gloucester is seeking a Shift Production Manager to lead a fast-paced manufacturing operation on a rotating day and night shift pattern.

You will be responsible for leading a production team, driving operational performance, and ensuring safety, quality and productivity targets are achieved.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Shift Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager.
• Strong leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage KPIs and drive performance improvements.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Health & Safety focused approach.
• Experience within FMCG, Food, Packaging, Automotive, Chemical or General Manufacturing environments would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Manage and lead production teams across shift operations.
• Drive performance against production, quality and safety KPIs.
• Ensure production schedules and customer requirements are met.
• Lead, motivate and develop team leaders and operators.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor labour utilisation, efficiency and operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams to optimise performance.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.

You'll be responsible for leading a production team, driving operational performance, and ensuring safety, quality and productivity targets are achieved.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead production teams across shift operations
