Job summary

Uniper is seeking a Shift Operations Technician for the Enfield, Grain and Taylors Lane organisation to oversee Day to Day Operations of one of the UK’s most efficient gas-fired power stations, ensuring SHE compliance and high asset performance. You will carry out routine operations, maintenance, fault diagnosis and root cause analysis while supporting the Shift Team Leader in incident management and emergency response.

The role aims to drive plant performance to world class standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Electrical Generation processes.
• Awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
• Ability to work across multiskilled teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day to day operational requirements of the Power Station.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and planned maintenance activities.
• Diagnose faults and support with root cause analysis.
• Support the Shift Team Leader in managing an incident or emergency.
• Drive plant performance to world class standards.
