Job summary

Uniper Energy is seeking an Operations Technician to manage day-to-day operations at a gas-fired power station in Enfield. The role involves ensuring SHE compliance, performing maintenance, diagnosing faults, and supporting incident response while driving high plant performance.

The successful candidate will work within a multiskilled team, have knowledge of electrical generation processes, and hold relevant engineering qualifications with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical generation processes and plant operations.
• Awareness of SHE requirements and compliance.
• Ability to work with multiskilled teams.
• Capable of fault diagnosis and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Operate day-to-day power station activities.
• Perform corrective and planned maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults and support RCA.
• Assist Shift Team Leader in incidents or emergencies.
• Drive plant performance to meet world-class standards.
