Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Shift Manager for the National Uniform Management Services (NUMS) operation in Northampton. You will lead day-to-day shift activity across warehousing, distribution, returns and garment management to deliver operational excellence.

You’ll coach managers and staff to drive engagement and performance, monitor KPI data, ensure safety, and pursue continuous improvement in a permanent, full-time role with on-site benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain operations leadership.
• Experience leading teams and developing people to a high-performance culture.
• Proficient in data analysis and achieving KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day shift operations to meet service levels and KPIs.
• Coach and develop managers and staff to drive engagement and performance.
• Maintain Health & Safety compliance through audits and safe practices.
• Monitor performance data and implement actions to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve effectiveness.
