Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an Operations Lead/Supervisor to be based at one of its sites. You’ll be the senior person on shift, guiding the team, maintaining safety and quality processes, and ensuring the plan for the day is executed. You’ll support planning shifts for peak times and work with the Shift/Area Manager on improvements.

There is a focus on using data to drive efficiency and a strong emphasis on a safe, engaging work environment with ongoing collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in local language in written and verbal communication (CEFR C1)
• Experience working with data analytics to identify problems
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment

Responsibilities

• Measure and monitor workflows, track onsite performance and share shift information with frontline management
• Support and train employees to deliver great service and supervise them in daily tasks
• Assist Shift/Area Manager with projects to improve processes and safety, and boost workforce engagement
• Collaborate with other departments to address common issues and support needs in key performance areas
• Use data analysis to identify ways to optimise safety, quality and productivity
