Job summary

NewCold Corby is seeking a VAL Shift Manager to lead the Pick Floor, Mixing, Manual Detop and Auto Detop operations at our Corby site. Reporting to the Senior Stock Control Manager UK, you will ensure safe, efficient and high-quality service for our customers.

You will lead Team Leaders and staff, plan labour, manage performance and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an operational leadership or supervisory role within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience managing teams and delivering operational performance.
• Experience engaging with customers and managing customer relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation across Pick Floor, Mixing, Manual Detop and Auto Detop.
• Manage and support Team Leaders, ensuring clear direction and standards.
• Ensure orders and priorities are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
• Coordinate activities across departments to improve workflow and performance.
• Identify and manage operational risks, issues and opportunities.
• Monitor KPIs relating to service, productivity, quality and cost.
