Job summary

Thermotraffic delivers temperature-controlled logistics solutions and is looking for an experienced Mid-Shift Supervisor in Bury. You will lead a warehouse team, manage workloads, ensure targets and safety standards are met, and support the Operations Manager to keep operations smooth and productive.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or team-leader experience in warehousing, logistics or distribution.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills to motivate and engage teams.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a positive 'can-do' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities to meet priorities.
• Lead, motivate, coach and develop a team of warehouse operatives.
• Ensure all checks and records are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain Health & Safety, HACCP and food safety standards.
• Plan staffing requirements including holiday and absence cover.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Ensure safe and efficient use of warehouse space and stock accuracy.
• Communicate between operational teams, management and customers to maintain service levels.
• Act as deputy for the Operations Manager when required.
