Safran is seeking a Shift Manager to lead production activities within the High Lift Transmission department in the UK. The role focuses on managing a multi-skilled team, driving production efficiency and safeguarding delivery schedules on the shop floor.

You will oversee Weld and build transmission systems, solve problems on the line, and collaborate with support functions to keep aircraft components on time and within quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-skilled manufacturing teams.
• Strong on shop floor presence and real-time issue resolution.
• Ability to drive delivery against customer demand.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of skilled manufacturing personnel across multiple production processes.
• Establish priorities, allocate resources to meet production objectives.
• Drive adherence to production plans and ensure progress through all stages.
• Maintain a visible shop floor presence and remove performance barriers.
• Monitor flow, identify risks to delivery schedules.
• Manage equipment and resources with escalation to support functions.
• Conduct process confirmations and shop floor reviews.
• Monitor KPIs for Safety, Quality, Delivery and People.
• Support quality investigations and close corrective actions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
