Job summary

Safran is seeking a Field Service Team Leader - Engine Maintenance at its UK Fareham facility. You will lead technicians, oversee Level 1-3 maintenance on Safran helicopter engines, and ensure compliance with airworthiness and safety standards.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with planning, KPI management, and customer-facing activity. You will champion quality, turnaround time, and continuous improvement, while maintaining records and promoting HSE and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in aerospace/maintenance environments.
• Aerospace engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of aviation maintenance regulations and engine overhaul.
• Ability to interpret EMMs, MTIs, IPCs, CMMs, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives.
• Strong IT skills and commitment to quality and safety.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of technicians with workloads and training.
• Perform Level 1-3 maintenance on Safran helicopter engines, ensuring airworthiness and regulatory compliance.
• Drive performance through KPI management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and promote HSE, QRQC, and 5S practices across the operation.
