Job summary

Five Guys in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Shift Manager to support the General and Assistant Managers, lead on the line and dining area, and ensure every shift runs to Five Guys standards.

You’ll drive customer satisfaction, coach the crew, manage costs and food safety, and create a positive, energetic work environment that reflects our values and delivers an above-and-beyond guest experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Proven track record of driving customer satisfaction scores and positive Mystery Shopper results.
• Understanding of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

In every restaurant, you’ll find talented Shift Managers and you will be responsible for supporting the General and Assistant Managers to ensure that every shift is run to Five Guys standards and that every customer leaves the restaurant feeling better than when they arrived.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Experience:Ideally, you have at least 1 year of management experience ina similar role within a high-volume hospitalityorQSRenvironment. You know what it takes to run a busy shift and keep the energy high
• Customer Satisfaction:You are obsessed with the guest experience and have the numbers to prove it. You havea track recordof driving customer satisfaction scores, increasing engagement, and consistently delivering excellent Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews
• FinancialResponsibility:You understand the basics of running a profitable shift,managing crew breaks,minimisingfood waste, and deploying the team effectively during the rush
• LeadershipSkills:You are a natural motivator who enjoys being hands-on. You lead by example and know how to get the best out of the Crew during a busy service
• Operational Excellence:You have a good working knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards and know how to enforce them on the line
• Flexibility:You are available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
