Job summary

Greggs plc in Sheffield is hiring a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Manager isn’t there and to motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service across in-store, delivery, and Click+Collect channels. You’ll supervise busy shifts and ensure the shop runs smoothly.

Salary is £14.00 per hour (includes a 20p uplift), with an hourly frequency and a permanent contract. Closing date is 21 September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare products, including making sandwiches and managing ovens.
• Ensure displays are fully stocked with a wide range of choices.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
