Job summary

Greggs is seeking a Shift Manager to join our Gregg's team. You will be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager isn't around, leading by example, and ensuring a brilliant customer experience across in-store, delivery, Click+Collect, and drive-thru channels.

Typical duties include inspiring the team, serving customers fast and friendly, preparing products, and maintaining stock and presentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate reliable leadership and capability to motivate a team.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience supervising a team in a customer-focused environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver excellent shop standards and performance.
• Lead by example by serving customers quickly and warmly.
• Prepare products (sandwiches) and manage ovens during shifts.
• Keep displays stocked and shop clean, tidy and presentable.

Salary: £14.00 per hour which includes a 20p per hour band increment.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you'll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.As part of the management team,you'llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn'taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.You'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
