Our Site Manager is currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Manager to help strengthen their depot operations team.

In this role, you will manage a team of warehouse operatives throughout the night, ensuring they are engaged, organized, and motivated, while unloading the lorries arriving at the depot efficiently and timely. You will oversee the accurate sortation of parcels to meet Key Performance Indicators.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring company Confirmed At Depot (CAD) % is achieved
• Achieving depot throughput targets in line with tip time goals
• Meeting company saturation targets
• Delivering depot objectives related to health & safety, productivity, and costs to provide outstanding customer service
• Resourcing additional staff at short notice in case of employee absence

Qualifications

You should have experience in a fast-paced operation with proven people management skills, including responsibility for motivating and leading a high-performing team. Additionally, we expect:

• Strong communication skills to inspire, motivate, and manage a team

• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Google Chrome applications
