Job summary

Greggs in Ammanford is recruiting for a Shift Manager to lead a busy team and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You’ll help run the shop when the Manager isn’t available, guiding colleagues and maintaining smooth daily operations.

You’ll motivate staff, supervise service across in-store, delivery, Click+Collect and drive-thru channels, and ensure products are prepared, displays stocked, and the shop stays clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Reliable, with natural leadership abilities.
• Customer-focused mindset and excellent communication.
• Availability for shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop.
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare our products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens.
• Ensure displays are fully stocked and the shop is clean and presentable.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
