Job summary

Greggs is seeking a Shift Manager in Hereford to lead the shop when the Manager isn’t available. You’ll motivate the team, ensure excellent customer service, and help deliver a brilliant customer experience across in-shop, delivery, Click+Collect, and drive-thru.

Typical shifts are 5.00am–7.30pm with 20 or 25 hours per week. The role offers a friendly team, colleague discounts, and progression opportunities within Greggs West Retail.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising a team in a customer-focused environment is advantageous.
• Ability to lead by example and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to achieve excellent shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers efficiently and kindly.
• Prepare products such as sandwiches and manage ovens.
• Keep displays stocked and the shop clean and presentable.

£14.00 per hour which includes a 20p per hour band increment.

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
