Job summary

Greggs in Topcliffe is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Manager is away, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth daily operations. You will motivate the team, manage stock, and maintain high standards across all areas of the store, including in-store, Click+Collect, delivery, and drive-thru.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coaching of colleagues, and delivering a brilliant customer experience on every shift.

Qualifications

• Reliable with natural leadership abilities and a passion for customer service.
• Supportive of an inclusive culture and values diversity.
• Experience supervising a team in a customer-focused environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver excellent results and uphold shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers quickly and kindly.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and oven management.
• Keep displays fully stocked and shop tidy at all times.
• Ensure the shop is clean, presentable and welcoming.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and You'll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you'llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn'taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
