Job summary

Kalmar is seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain, service and repair Kalmar and third‑party equipment from our workshop in the UK. You will report to the UK Service Manager and deliver exceptional customer service through technical expertise.

This role requires diagnostics, fault finding, and ongoing improvements to equipment performance while adhering to safety standards in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams; fault-finding and diagnostics of PLC and CANBUS systems.
• Strong customer focus and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair Kalmar and third‑party equipment.
• Provide high‑quality maintenance support and diagnostics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of equipment performance.
