Job summary

Kalmar is seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician in Belfast to maintain, service, and repair Kalmar and third-party equipment in a workshop-based setting. You will report to the UK Service Manager and provide high-quality maintenance support with strong customer service.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, with proven fault-finding skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform fault-finding on PLC and CANBUS systems.
• Strong focus on customer service, safety, and clear reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair Kalmar and third-party equipment in a workshop.
• Provide high-quality maintenance support with clear customer communication.
• Diagnose faults and improve equipment performance through proactive actions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with the UK Service Manager.
