Job summary

ConvaTec Inc in Rhymney is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for front line maintenance and breakdown responses on production equipment and facility services. The role covers electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis, planned and reactive maintenance, and driving continuous improvement to maximise asset uptime.

You will work a rotating shift pattern, including weekend work, contributing to safe, GMP-compliant operation and site housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with GMP and clean room controls is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Maximise uptime of Rhymney site through planned and reactive maintenance.
• Conduct electrical, mechanical fault diagnosis across the site.
• Support installation, modification and continuous improvement of equipment and facilities.
• Use CMMS to log breakdowns and corrective actions.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in line with GMP.
