Job summary

Smart4Sciences is seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer for our Huddersfield site. The role covers mechanical and/or electrical maintenance with a focus on keeping production lines running in a GMP-regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ level 3 (electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled), experience in pharmaceutical settings, and a track record of maintaining production equipment. This is a shift role requiring flexibility to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production/manufacturing equipment.
• Experience working in a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment.
• GMP knowledge or experience is advantageous.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy pharmaceutical manufacturing site, with either a mechanical or electrical bias.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and/or electrical maintenance and fault finding.
• Complete planned, preventative and reactive/breakdown maintenance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
• Complete engineering work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Working in accordance with GMP regulations.

This list is not exhaustive and you will be expected to carry out additional duties where reasonable.

Requirements

• Electrical, Mechanical or Multi skilled NVQ level 3.
• Experience working in a Pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience maintaining production/manufacturing equipment.
• GMP experience advantageous.
