Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is exclusively seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer for our FMCG client in the Leeds area. You will perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

The role offers a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour shift pattern (days and nights) with a salary circa £50k + benefits, including healthcare, life insurance, an overtime rate and a discount platform.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications are desired (NVQ, HNC, 18th Edition or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience with Extrusion would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment within an FMCG setting.
• Troubleshoot and identify faults.
• Diagnose and rectify machinery issues to reduce downtime and enhance production efficiency.
• Work closely with the production team to promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilise your technical knowledge to resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems.
• Follow health and safety regulations while maintaining high work standards.

HRGO Recruitment is exclusively seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer with robust maintenance experience for our client in the FMCG Manufacturing industry, located in the Leeds area. We are particularly interested in candidates who are multiskilled and have worked in fast paced industrial factory environments.

We invite applications from logical thinkers and collaborative team players who can help ensure the smooth operation of our client's dynamic production line. The ideal applicant will possess experience in FMCG or the Food & Beverage Manufacturing and Distribution sectors. We would also invite applications from Engineers who have just exited the Forces due to previous success.
