Job summary

Danish Crown UK is seeking a Lead Logistics Operative to support day-to-day coordination and performance of warehouse activities, including receipts, storage, picking and dispatch. The role provides on-shift leadership and deputises for the Logistics Supervisor when required.

You will work across inbound, storage and outbound processes, monitor performance against plan, uphold safety and quality standards, and coach team members to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environment.
• Experience with FIFO/FEFO.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy across inbound, storage, picking, and dispatch.
• Support stock receipt, checking, storage, and system updates.
• Monitor stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance in handling and storage.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and delegate tasks during shifts.
• Deputise for the Logistics Supervisor when needed.
• Drive operational performance and process improvements.
• Promote safe working practices and hygiene standards.
• Onboard, train, and coach team members.
• Communicate with supervisors to align operations.
