Job summary

Iron Mountain in Lutterworth is seeking a proactive Warehouse Shift Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. The role focuses on safety, quality, and cost control within a fast-paced 3PL environment.

You will coach and develop a high-performing team, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. This is a full-time on‑site position in the UK.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in shift management or supervision within a fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and KPI tracking.
• Proven team leadership skills with coaching and engagement.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations: oversee daily warehouse processes (receipt, storage, dispatch) to meet service levels.
• Develop operational teams: coach, mentor and build a high-performing, safety-focused workforce.
• Manage resources and performance: plan staffing, track KPIs, and control shift costs.
• Maintain safety and compliance: conduct inspections and ensure adherence to health, safety, security protocols.
• Drive operational efficiency: resolve bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
