Job summary

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader for Obelisk House in Northampton. You will lead shifts, coordinate workloads and support staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with dementia and physical disabilities.

Working a 7.5-hour pattern with alternating weekends, you will oversee medication administration, care planning, staff development and safeguarding compliance, while upholding residents' dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care is desirable.
• Proven ability to lead a team in a care setting.
• Commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and coordinate workloads to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Support staff development and contribute to care planning.
• Oversee safe medication ordering, administration and records.
