Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a proactive Team Leader for our Thorne site. You will oversee production shifts, ensure safe and efficient operation, and support and motivate a go‑getting team to achieve daily targets.

You will ensure the right skills coverage, drive training needs, and maintain accurate production and quality records while upholding high housekeeping standards and smooth handovers between shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing/food environment.
• Ability to coach and develop staff coverage for holidays and absence.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep production lines running smoothly and escalate faults quickly.
• Lead and support operatives to meet production targets safely.
• Motivate the team and help create a positive working environment.
• Ensure area has the right skills and training coverage.
• Identify training and development needs.
• Ensure production and quality paperwork is completed accurately.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and provide clear handovers between shifts.
• Support the Shift Supervisor and provide cover when required.
