Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a proactive Team Leader for our Thorne site. You will oversee production shifts, ensure safe and efficient operation, and support and motivate a go‑getting team to achieve daily targets.

You will ensure the right skills coverage, drive training needs, and maintain accurate production and quality records while upholding high housekeeping standards and smooth handovers between shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing/food environment.
• Ability to coach and develop staff coverage for holidays and absence.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep production lines running smoothly and escalate faults quickly.
• Lead and support operatives to meet production targets safely.

As a Team Leader, you'll take responsibility for your area, making sure we have the right people and equipment in place to deliver the production plan safely, efficiently and to the high standards our customers expect.

You’ll be right at the heart of the operation, supporting and motivating your team while making sure everything runs smoothly throughout the shift.

• Supporting the Shift Supervisor and stepping up to provide Supervisor cover when required

Salary: £13.69 per hour (overtime available out of working hours),
