Job summary

Whitbread is recruiting a Duty Manager for Cannock (Orbital) Premier Inn. This is a permanent, 24-hour-per-week role with a salary of up to £13.86 per hour.

You will lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to keep the hotel running smoothly and ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll spend your shift leading your team, solving problems and making things happen, with opportunities to progress toward a Hotel Manager role in the future.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people in fast-paced customer-facing environments.
• Confident decision-maker who stays calm under pressure.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Support reception, housekeeping and the restaurant as needed.
• Work with Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
