Job summary

Premier Inn in Southend-on-Sea (Eastern Esplanade) is recruiting for a Duty Manager. This 32-hour-per-week role is a permanent contract with guaranteed hours and the opportunity to grow into a Hotel Manager path.

You’ll lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant, guiding your team and ensuring guests have a great stay. No hotel experience is required, but leadership and calm decision making help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a guest-facing environment.
• Comfortable coordinating across multiple hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across front desk, housekeeping and restaurant to ensure smooth guest experience.
• Coach and support team members throughout the day.
• Resolve guest questions and problems quickly and calmly.
• Collaborate with Hotel Manager and leadership team to keep operations running smoothly.
